Air
Tahiti is the domestic airline operating inter-island
flights in French Polynesia. It is a privately owned
Polynesian company.
To travel
from one island to another, Air Tahiti offers
the most convenient mean of transportation by connecting
the most popular islands such as Bora Bora,
Moorea
or Huahine with several daily flights.
Some
flights between Tahiti and Moorea are operated in
smaller 20-seat planes by Air
Moorea,
a sister company of Air Tahiti.
Note : We
do NOT sell air-only packages.
(ie : flight reservations must be made along
with accommodations).
Air Tahiti terminal is located in the same building
as the international arrivals and departures.
Tahiti Faaa international airport
is located 7 km south of Papeete, close
to
several
primary
resorts
and hotels.
Air Moorea terminal is neighbouring the international
departure terminal.
The cruise ship port and ferry docks
are located downtown Papeete, at the far
end of the waterfront, about 20 minutes away by car
from Tahiti Faaa airport.
